Are there accessible homes available at The Charter?

Yes, The Charter includes a number of accessible homes. There are five apartments designed for wheelchair users, with features like step-free access and wider doorways, and 19 apartments with enhanced accessibility for those who need it. If you have specific needs, our team is happy to help – please contact us.

What pets am I allowed?

Of course, we love our furry residents! You will need to apply to bring your pet along with you and agree to some T&Cs to ensure the comfort of all residents. After that, we’ll make sure we have plenty of treats ready for their arrival.

Is there car parking space available?

Yes, residents can apply for dedicated parking spaces at a small additional charge, offering added convenience and security. Accessible parking spaces are also available on request for residents who require them.

Do the apartments have outdoor space?

Yes! Some of our apartments come with their own private balcony - just get in touch to see which units are available. All residents also have access to shared rooftop terraces and an internal courtyard garden to relax and enjoy.

What is the smoking policy?

The Charter is a no smoking or vaping building including the apartments and balconies

When will I be able to move in?

The homes will be ready to move in from expected late 2025 but we are open to reservations now! Use our contact us form to book a viewing.

How do I book a viewing?

Head to our contact us page or give us a call on 01474 526 786. Let us know the date you’re looking to move in from and we’ll help with the rest.

Do the apartments come furnished or unfurnished?

We offer unfurnished apartments, with optional furniture packs available at an additional cost. Get in touch to find out more and see what suits you best.

Is there cycle storage?

There is indeed – We have secure cycle stores and there is no charge to store your beloved bike.

Where will the concierge be based?

Within Bank Street, 2 Bank Street on the right hand site, Ground Floor.

Is there an initial deposit?

You can choose to either pay a 5-week cash standard deposit (protected using the TDS scheme) or use a service supplied by our friends over at Reposit. The Reposit scheme allows you to pay a small fee instead of a large deposit. That means you get to keep the money in your own bank account instead of paying out the full 5 week deposit to us. At the end of your tenancy you just pay for anything you might owe. If you have more questions head to the Reposit website https://reposit.co.uk/tenants/
